- Employee cards: You can create up to 99 employee cards under your account, set spending limits for each card, and easily manage your business expenses.
Insurance
- Purchase protection: Items that were stolen or damaged within 90 days of the date of purchase are covered with purchase protection up to $1,000 per incident and $50,000 per year. Items covered exclude animals, plants, consumables, tickets, motorized vehicles, fixtures, and preowned goods.
- Extended warranty protection: This is good for up to one additional year on items that come with an original manufacturer’s warranty of five years or less. This is limited to $10,000 per covered purchase, up to $50,000 per account per year.
- Car rental loss and damage insurance: Car rental loss and damage insurance of up to $50,000 per car rental agreement are provided. This coverage is only good for the first 30 consecutive days of a car rental agreement. To be eligible, the full rental fee must have been charged to your card. Instances that aren’t covered include intentional damage, manufacturing defects, wear and tear, theft of or damage to tires, damage to any other vehicle, and damage to any property other than the rental vehicle.
- Dispute resolution: American Express will work with you to help resolve issues such as fraudulent or incorrect transactions indicated in your credit card statement.
